What Are Some Requirements When Purchasing Property?

How Soon Can I Move In?

What is Escrow?
Many first time homebuyers and landowners don’t know what escrow is and may not be inclined to ask. In addition to your monthly payment of principal and interest, you will be making an escrow payment for property taxes and Homeowner’s Association fees, if applicable. Will my Property (Residential or Commercial) Have Utilities Already Installed?
At Santa Cruz Properties, we do our best to ensure our customers have a smooth transition into owning land. For this reason, all residential lots will have all utilities installed. The customer is only responsible for the cost of opening an account and deposits (if any). Unfortunately, if a client purchases a commercial lot, the utilities will not come installed and it is up to the customer to achieve that process.

When is My First Monthly Payment Due?
Your first payment will be due 30 days from your closing date. Know that if financial issues get in the way of you making a payment, we can work with you to come to a mutually satisfactory solution.

How Can I Make a Payment?
At Santa Cruz Properties, we accept payments via mail or you can come directly to our office in Edinburg. The forms of payment we accept are money orders, personal checks or cashier’s checks. We do not accept cash or credit cards.
